Local Chapters
The Mission of A&WMA is to assist in the professional development and critical environmental decision-making of our members to benefit society. The core Purpose of A&WMA is to improve environmental knowledge and decisions by providing a neutral forum for exchanging information. Membership in A&WMA’s Sections and Chapters provides environmental professionals with support at the regional and local levels to grow professionally and personally. Each region’s activities and organization varies; however, most Sections and Chapters provide members with networking opportunities, local meetings, training courses, social events, and connections with student chapters.
The Central New York Chapter of the A&WMA Mid-Atlantic States Section serves approximately 300 members in engineering, compliance management, industrial hygiene, hazardous waste management, legal counsel, government, and more.

The Eastern New York Chapter of the A&WMA Mid-Atlantic States Section of the A&WMA serves engineers and scientists with a focus on air and waste environmental issues.

The Delaware Valley Chapter of A&WMA Mid-Atlantic States Section serves over 200 members in such diverse fields as engineering, compliance management, industrial hygiene, hazardous waste management, legal counsel, government, and more.

The Central & Northern New Jersey Chapter is a professional non-profit association of engineers and scientists with a particular focus on air and waste environmental issues.
