Exposure Scientist

We are seeking candidates for a full-time position in the Exposure Sciences Group of ExxonMobil Biomedical Sciences, Inc. ExxonMobil Biomedical Sciences is the division of ExxonMobil that provides support to the Corporation on human and environmental health issues. The position is located at ExxonMobil’s Research and Engineering facility in Annandale, New Jersey. The successful candidate will be involved with evaluating, developing and applying exposure science (exposure factors and models) for product safety assessment and regulatory requirements. The position encompasses occupational, community, consumer and environmental exposure assessment. It requires successful communication and interaction across business areas, trade-groups, and regulatory agencies. The position will require travel.
Candidates will have completed a MS or PhD in Environmental Science, Public Health, or other relevant discipline. Professional experience in exposure and risk assessment is highly desired. Candidates should have a working understanding of exposure models as well as qualitative and quantitative exposure assessment. Candidates applying for the position must demonstrate critical thinking and problem solving skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, strong computer skills (relational databases, spreadsheets, word processing), and be detail oriented. Statistical and atmospheric science expertise is a plus.
