Environmental Safety Specialist

Under the direction of the Manager, Environmental & Safety Compliance this position is responsible for the following:
Environmental Responsibilities
•
Assists with development and implementation of policies and procedures relative to environmental regulations impacting the company’s manufacturing operations.
Assists with development and implementation of policies and procedures relative to environmental regulations impacting the company’s manufacturing operations.•Directs and assists plants in preparation and updating of required environmental plans and reports and maintenance of permit compliance.
Directs and assists plants in preparation and updating of required environmental plans and reports and maintenance of permit compliance.•Conducts environmental compliance audits of all manufacturing facilities.
Conducts environmental compliance audits of all manufacturing facilities.•Conducts audits of all waste disposal firms used by the plants for environmental compliance to minimize Dopaco’s potential liability for future site cleanups.

Assists with permitting activities as necessary.

•Ability to Travel approximately 35%.
Ability to Travel approximately 35%.•BS Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or related field.
