Entry Level OSH Specialist I position in the TSA Northeast Region.

Minimum B.S. in OSH, environmental sciences, IH, or related field

Some experience or internship in OSH preferred.

Must be a U.S. Citizen

Starting salary $47,000.00 per year

Must be able to pass background check. Security clearance not required.

Microsoft Office skills minimum.

Duties include providing all OSH evaluation, investigation, and training services for any airport facility with Transportation Security Administration (TSA) employees. Travel expenses paid to various work sites (3-4 days per week, 1-2 weeks per month, may vary). Work from home - TSA laptop and training provided. Will take assignments and report to OSH supervisor at regional office.

Specialist would work for Marton Technologies in Hampton, VA, who is a subcontractor with CACI, the prime contractor for the TSA contract.  Contract runs for 5 years, with incumbent first right of refusal with any follow-on contractors.  Contract started November 2011.  This position will start Feb/Mar 2012.  Preference to candidates already located in NY/NJ.
