In 2010, the ENY Chapter will once again be asking for applications from all schools in the  "12_ _ _" zip code area.  We are now an IRS 501(c)(3) organization, and all donations will be fully tax deductible. Please consider making a contribution to the Earth Day Grant Program.  Contibutions can be made at any time to AMWA by contacting Keith Cowan, Chapter Treasurer.

The Eastern New York Chapter's Earth Day Grant Program has provided grants for environmental projects since 2002 to encourage awareness in students of all levels.  The program funds projects that will provide hands-on involvement to students and foster environmental interest, awareness, and education. In 2008, approximately 30 applications were received by the ENY Chapter.  Of these, 17 grants were awarded totaling $4,700.
