The Eastern NY Chapter of the Air & Waste Management Association announces the 2011 Earth Day Grant Program.
Since 2002, the Air and Waste Management Association (AWMA), Eastern NY Chapter, has awarded over $34,900 to motivated teachers.  In 2010, qualifying projects received grants up to $750 per school.  If you have an environmental project or event that you would like to have funded, please complete and submit a Grant Application by March 31, 2011.  For more information please click here.

In  2010, grants were awarded to the following schools.
Two teachers from the Broadalbin-Perth school gave a presentation on their program, “No Child Left Inside”. 
In 2011, the ENY Chapter will once again be asking for applications from all schools in the  "12_ _ _" zip code area.  We are now an IRS 501(c)(3) organization, and all donations will be fully tax deductible. Students from the Tabernacle Christian Academy discussed their recent project which sought out energy leaks in their school.  The students made their presentation at the November 2010 meeting of the AWMA.
